The CAET/CAPET Program

The capacity building of Koudougou’s University Normal School through a consistent support in technical industrial equipments and its budget is of a € million six hundred thousand (€1,600,000). The implementation of this part will last three years (2008 - 2010). a. Objective :
• Training of technical and vocational teachers ;
• Training of technical and vocational planners ;
• Training of planners in vocational training ;
b. Trainings characteristics :
The recruitment level is the baccalaureate (general, technological, vocational). The training lasts 4 years plus 1 year of internship. Classes will have 45 to 50 seed teachers.
c. Equipments :
The equipments to be acquired will be destined to the different workshops (civil, electric, mechanic engineering, car and farm mechanics, computer science) and to the classrooms. They will include pedagogical, multi media equipments and furniture. 1à workstations are planned for each workshop for a double or triple flux of exploitation. Taiwan’s funding is of a million six hundred ( 1,600,000) euros and shared as follows:
• equipment : € 1.35 M
• complementary frame of reference : € 0.25M

It also includes the provision of an arranged building specifically a workshop of 6000 m2 (already existing), of the personnel and Burkina’s teaching reference frames and the care taking of the operating costs.
